Size wire based on the current draw of the amp. Place a fuse holder 6in away from the positive battery post. Size the fuse based on the size of the wire you are using. The amp will have its own fuse. You are not fusing the amp but the wire. Make sure that you are not sujecting the wire to any strain or potentional hazard like turn, bends or fold over cabs.
