If the unit plugs in the truck and does not turn on, you need to check to make sure you have power supplied to the radio.  The radio needs 2 sources for power.  1 on the red wire which should be switched with key and 2 one for battery supply for settings and clock.  Check for power to these wires.  If power exist check  the radio fuse.  It should be around the power plug for the radio.  If fuse is good and radio still does not work, you would nbeed to return it.
