I have a 2012 389 flat top pete with smart navi is there a way to connect my own sub and amp to this radio?

Get a PRE AMP Adaptor and preamp the back channels at the back of the radio or from the rear speakers. This will give you preamp inputs for any amp you would like to add. The adaptor is available at most stero shop like Best Buy or Crutchfield online
